The Scope connector for Claude is launching soon. Here’s exactly how it will work — we’ll update this page the moment it’s live. Questions in the meantime? Email support@growyourscope.com.
Using Scope inside Claude
Scope turns the real work you already do in Claude into verified skills — ownership, candour, staying steady, listening, and more. Instead of stopping to write a separate practice entry, you log the work you're already doing, and Scope verifies the skill it demonstrates and adds it to your private, portable record.
This guide explains how to connect Scope and use it.
What you'll need
- A Scope account (free). If you don't have one, create one at growyourscope.com first — the connector signs you in with your existing Scope account.
- Claude (claude.ai or the Claude desktop app) with connectors available on your plan.
How to connect Scope (one time, ~1 minute)
- In Claude, open Settings → Connectors (or the connector directory).
- Find Scope, or add it by URL:
https://mcp.growyourscope.com. - Click Connect. You'll be taken to a Scope sign-in screen.
- Sign in with your existing Scope account (the same email/Google login you already use). If you're already signed in to Scope in that browser, this is instant.
- Review what you're granting and click Allow.
That's it — Scope is now available in your Claude conversations. You can disconnect anytime from the same Connectors settings.
What you can do
Once connected, just ask Claude naturally. For example:
- Log a rep from real work — "Scope, log this as a candour rep." Claude sends Scope the specific piece you point to; Scope checks the skill it demonstrates and records a verified rep to your account.
- Get an honest read without logging — "Scope, was that good ownership?" Scope assesses it and gives you a verdict and a coaching line, without saving anything.
- See your capability picture — "Show my Scope fingerprint."
- Know what to work on — "Scope, what should I practice?"
- Check your credentials — "Scope, what have I verified?"
Scope only ever sees the specific text you point it at — never your whole conversation.
How verification works (and why it's trustworthy)
Scope doesn't hand out credentials for a single clever paragraph. A verified level reflects a genuine, sustained pattern of demonstrated skill — the same bar as practising inside the Scope app. That's deliberate: a credential is only worth something if it can't be farmed. So logging a strong piece of work records a rep and builds your progress, and your level advances when your work shows the real pattern.

Your privacy
- Scope never reads your conversations — only the specific text you choose to submit.
- Your verified record is yours, tied to your own account, and you can export or delete it.
- In team settings, managers see only aggregate capability — never an individual's work.
Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Troubleshooting
- The sign-in asks me to log in again — that's expected the first time, or if you're not already signed in to Scope in that browser. Use your normal Scope login.
- Scope says I've hit my monthly limit — you've used your free reps for the month; upgrade to Pro for unlimited, or wait for the reset.
- A skill didn't verify — Scope verifies genuine, specific demonstrations. Try pointing it at a concrete example of the actual behaviour, in your own words.
