Scope Connector — Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 13, 2026 Last updated: October 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Diyako Tech Innovations Pvt. Ltd. ("Scope," "we," "us," or "our"), the maker of Grow Your Scope™ / Scope (growyourscope.com), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you connect and use Scope inside an AI assistant (such as Claude) via the Scope connector (the "Connector").
This policy covers the Connector specifically. Your use of the Scope web application is also governed by our main Privacy Policy and Terms of Service; where the two overlap, they are intended to be consistent. If you only use the web app and never connect an AI assistant, the Connector-specific sections below do not apply to you.
1. The short version (our promise)
We built the Connector around three commitments, and the rest of this policy is the detail behind them:
- We never passively read your AI conversations. The Connector only ever receives the specific text you deliberately choose to send it — when you ask your AI assistant to log or assess something, or when it offers and you say yes. There is no capability, anywhere in the Connector, to read, scan, or summarize your chats on its own.
- Your verified record is yours. The skills, levels, and credentials built from your work belong to you, are tied to your own Scope account, and you can export or delete them.
- Managers never see your individual work. In any team setting, an organization only ever sees an aggregate capability picture — never an individual's logged work, text, or scores. This is enforced in our architecture, not just promised.
2. Who we are and how to reach us
Data Controller / Data Fiduciary: Diyako Tech Innovations Pvt. Ltd. Registered address: 46-G/5, Gandhi Nagar, Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, India, 312001 Privacy contact: support@growyourscope.com Grievance Officer (India DPDP Act, 2023): Gaurav Sharma — support@growyourscope.com
If you are in the EU/EEA or UK: our representative is not applicable — we do not have an EU/UK representative at this time.
3. Information we collect through the Connector
a) Account and identity information. When you connect Scope to your AI assistant, you sign in through our authentication provider (WorkOS) using your existing Scope credentials. We receive and store a stable identifier that links the Connector to your existing Scope account, along with the email address associated with that account. We do not receive or store your password.
b) Content you choose to submit. When you ask the Connector to log a rep, assess your work, or verify a skill, your AI assistant sends us the specific text you selected for that purpose (for example, a piece of your own writing, a decision you worked through, or a reflection). We refer to this as your "submitted content." We only receive what is included in that single request — nothing else from your conversation.
c) Derived data. From your submitted content and your activity, we generate and store: skill assessments and verdicts, rep records, skill levels and progression, verified credentials, and your capability profile ("Culture Fingerprint") within your own account.
d) Technical and usage data. We process limited operational data to run the service securely — for example, timestamps, rate-limit counters, request metadata, and error logs.
e) Billing information. If you upgrade to a paid tier, payments are processed by our payment provider (Razorpay). We do not store your full card or bank details; we retain only the information needed to recognize your subscription status.
What we do NOT collect: your AI conversations as a whole; any message you did not deliberately submit; your AI assistant password or account; or your card/bank numbers.
4. How we use your information
We use the information above to:
- classify which skill(s) your submitted content demonstrates, and at what quality/level, and record verified reps and credentials to your account;
- build and show you your own capability profile, progress, and credentials;
- enforce plan limits, rate limits, and anti-abuse protections (server-side);
- operate, secure, debug, and improve the service;
- communicate with you about the service (e.g. important notices); and
- comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your submitted content for advertising.
5. Legal bases for processing (GDPR / UK GDPR / DPDP)
Where required, we rely on: your consent (which you give by connecting the Connector and by choosing to submit each piece of content; you can withdraw it at any time); performance of a contract (to provide the service you asked for); our legitimate interests (to secure the service, prevent abuse, and improve the product, balanced against your rights); and legal obligation (where the law requires us to process data).
6. How AI is used to process your content
Your submitted content is sent to our AI model provider, Anthropic, through its commercial API, solely to generate the skill assessment described above. Under Anthropic's commercial API terms, such inputs are not used to train its models. The assessment is returned to us; the verdict is stored on your account, and your submitted content is stored only where it becomes part of a rep you chose to log (an assessment-only "verify" request is processed and then discarded, not stored). We apply automated safety checks before processing — including a prompt that nudges you to remove names, figures, or confidential specifics — but you remain responsible for what you choose to submit (see Section 13).
7. Who we share information with (sub-processors)
We share personal information only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract, to deliver the service. Current sub-processors:
| Provider | Purpose | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Anthropic | AI skill assessment (model API) | USA |
| WorkOS | Authentication / sign-in for the Connector | USA |
| Google Cloud / Firebase | Hosting, database, authentication | USA / global |
| Upstash | Rate limiting | USA / global |
| Vercel | Web application hosting | USA / global |
| Sentry | Error monitoring | USA |
| Razorpay | Payment processing (paid tiers) | India |
| Brevo | Transactional email | EU |
We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights or users' safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice as required). This list may change; the current list is always available at [this URL].
8. The privacy firewall (teams)
If your organization uses Scope for Teams, the Connector's design guarantees that no individual's submitted content, rep text, or individual score is ever exposed to a manager or organization administrator. Organizations receive only aggregate capability measures computed across a team. An individual's record remains private to that individual and is enforced at the data layer, not merely as a setting.
9. Data retention
We retain your account data and verified record for as long as your Scope account is active. Assessment-only ("verify") submissions are not stored. Operational logs are retained for a limited period for security and debugging. When you delete your account or specific records, we delete the associated personal data within 30 days, except where we must retain limited information to comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. Aggregate, de-identified data that can no longer be linked to you may be retained.
10. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live (including under the India DPDP Act, GDPR/UK GDPR, and CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct it; delete it; export/port it; withdraw consent; object to or restrict certain processing; and, for California residents, to know what we collect and to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell or "share" (as defined by CPRA) personal information.
How to exercise these rights: you can disconnect the Connector at any time from within your AI assistant's settings, which stops all further processing; and you can access, export, or delete your data from your Scope account settings or by contacting support@growyourscope.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. If you are in India and are unsatisfied with our response, you may escalate to our Grievance Officer (Section 2) and, ultimately, to the Data Protection Board of India.
11. Security
We protect your information with measures including encryption in transit, access controls, server-side authorization checks, secrets management, and the principle of least privilege. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and the relevant authorities of a breach where the law requires.
12. International data transfers
We are based in India and use service providers located in India, the USA, the EU, and elsewhere. When we transfer personal data across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards where required (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) and process it in accordance with this policy and applicable law.
13. Sensitive information — please don't submit it
The Connector is for demonstrating professional and personal-development skills. Please do not submit content containing sensitive personal data — for example, government ID numbers, financial account numbers, health information, or other people's confidential information. Our safety checks will nudge you to remove obvious specifics, but you are responsible for the content you choose to submit. If you submit sensitive data by mistake, contact us and we will help you remove it.
14. Children
The Connector is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a minor has used the Connector, contact us and we will delete the data.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide additional notice where required.
