1. Who We Are
Scope ("Scope," "we," "us," or "our") is a product of Diyako Tech Innovations Pvt. Ltd., a company registered in Rajasthan, India. For any inquiries about our company, including our registered address, please write to us at support@growyourscope.com.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use the Scope web application, the Grow Your Scope™ website, and related services (together, the "Service").

2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you give us directly
- Account information: name, email address, and password (encrypted) when you sign up.
- Profile information: any details you choose to add to your profile.
- Onboarding responses: the realm and skill you select when you start using Scope.
- Journal, reflection, and rep content: text you write while completing reps, reflections, or journal entries inside the Learn → Apply → Prove loop.
- Conversations with Diya: messages you send to Diya, our in-app AI coach.
- Payment information: when you subscribe to Scope Plus, payment is processed directly by our payment partner, Razorpay. We do not store your full card, UPI, or bank account details on our servers. We receive and store only your subscription status, plan, and transaction history.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Usage data: features used, reps completed, streaks, session duration, and interaction patterns within the Service.
- Device and technical data: browser type, operating system, IP address, and device identifiers.
- Cookies and similar technologies: used for authentication, preferences, and analytics (see Section 8).
2.3 Information from third parties
- Basic account confirmation data from Google, if you sign in using Google Sign-In.
- Payment confirmation and subscription status from Razorpay.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and maintain your account and provide the Service.
- Operate the Learn → Apply → Prove loop, track your progress, and issue Verified Skill badges.
- Power Diya's responses to you (your messages are sent to our AI infrastructure provider, Anthropic, solely to generate a response — see Section 6).
- Process payments and manage your subscription (Free or Plus tier).
- Send you transactional emails (e.g., payment confirmations, password resets) via our email provider, Brevo.
- Send push notifications (e.g., streak reminders), if you have enabled them, via Firebase Cloud Messaging.
- Understand how the Service is used, in aggregate, to improve it (via Google Analytics).
- Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or abuse of the Service.
- Comply with applicable law.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we do not use your journal or reflection content to train third-party AI models.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
Where the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) of India applies, we process your personal data on the basis of your consent, given when you create an account and agree to this Policy, and, in limited cases, for the performance of our contract with you (e.g., processing a payment you initiated).
Where the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to you (for example, if you access Scope from the European Economic Area or the UK), we rely on one or more of the following legal bases: your consent, performance of a contract with you, and our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service, balanced against your rights.
5. Sharing Your Information
We share information only with service providers who help us operate Scope, under contractual obligations to protect your data:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice to you where required).
6. Diya and AI Processing
Diya, Scope's in-app AI coach, is powered by Anthropic's Claude API. When you message Diya, your message and relevant account context (such as your active skill and realm) are sent to Anthropic's systems to generate a response. This exchange is subject to Anthropic's own data processing terms in addition to this Policy. Please see our separate Diya AI Disclaimer for important information about what Diya is and is not.
7. International Data Transfers
Several of our service providers (including Firebase/Google Cloud, Anthropic, Google Analytics, and Vercel) operate servers outside India, including in the United States. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries other than your own, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence. We require our service providers to maintain appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
8. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Keep you signed in (essential/session cookies).
- Remember your preferences.
- Understand aggregate usage patterns (analytics cookies, via GA4).
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the Service from working correctly.
9. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see our GDPR/DPDP Rights page for how).
10. Data Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and secure infrastructure through Firebase/Google Cloud. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Age Restriction
Scope is intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at growyourscope@gmail.com so we can delete it.
12. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you have rights over your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete it, and to withdraw consent. Full details on how to exercise these rights are set out in our GDPR/DPDP Rights page.
