1. Your rights over your data
You have rights over your personal data. The specific rights depend on where you live. To exercise any right, contact support@growyourscope.com or use the in-app controls where available.
2. Rights by region
India (DPDP Act 2023):
- Access — a summary of the personal data we process about you.
- Correction & completion — correct or complete inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure — request deletion where data is no longer needed or where you withdraw consent.
- Grievance redressal — raise a grievance and receive a response within the prescribed period.
- Nomination — nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.
EU / UK (GDPR):
- Access, Rectification, Erasure ("right to be forgotten"), Restriction, Portability, Objection, and rights regarding automated decision-making.
- Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent).
- Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
California (CCPA/CPRA):
- Know / Access, Delete, Correct, and opt out of "sale"/"sharing" — note we do not sell your personal data or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
- Limit use of sensitive personal information, and non-discrimination for exercising rights.
3. How to make a request
Email support@growyourscope.com with your request and the email address associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
4. Scope for Teams — a note on requests
If you use Scope through your employer, your employer is the Controller for the data they direct us to process. Some requests (for example, correction or deletion of employer-directed data) may need to be made to, or coordinated with, your employer. We will assist your employer as required.
However, your private practice content (reps, reflections, Diya conversations) remains private and yours, and your personal Evidence Pack and personal account remain your own — you can access, share, and retain these directly, and they persist with you if you leave the employer (see the Data Ownership & Portability Terms).
5. Exercising your right to delete your account
You can delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete my account within the Scope app. Deletion is permanent and removes your credentials and practice history.
Financial and transaction records are retained for the period required by applicable law (see our Privacy Policy, Section 13).
